Last Couple Months & a Big Decision

What I have been doing in the month of June and July

I made a big decision yesterday based on a podcast I listened to with Eddy Quan and Vance on MyLatinLife.

Eddy Quan has 160K followers on Twitter and is a ghostwriter and master email marketer.

Vance has 30K followers on Twitter, and his handle is @MyLatinLife. He helps digital nomads get foreign residency and legally lower taxes.

I had him on my podcast a few weeks back, and if you want to listen to more of that, you can here:

The decision is to finally become consistent in writing to my email list, even if it’s only a couple of times a week or once a week, but still be consistent.

This episode inspired me in many ways, but one of the main ones is that Eddy explained that email is like owning your own magazine or newspaper, and that really resonated with me.

I feel that I have a lot of stories to share and things to keep you all updated on, but I haven’t done a great job up to this point, so here is what has happened recently and is going on.

By the way, if you are interested in learning about email marketing, sales funnels, and life in Latin America, the podcast with Eddy and Vance was great, and I’ll drop that link for you here:

June:

  • Moved to Conquistadors in Medellín, Colombia. This was a wonderful area right in between two parks called Parques Del Rio and Unidad Deportiva De Belen.

  • Did my first fitness influencer esc photoshoot (was very uncomfortable)

  • Decided I wanted to Add a Side Hustle & New Business to my Coaching, so I started Ghostwriting because I’ve always enjoyed writing and thought I could learn a lot to add to my coaching business. I took on my first client and invested in a ghostwriting academy

  • I decided to grow my personal brand on Twitter, so I have become much more active, posting there every day.

  • Running 4 miles a day

  • Started Boxing With My Friend Julian 2X a Week

  • Was Taking 5 Bachata Lessons a Week. Going to 1-2 Group Classes and 1-2 Socials a Week

  • Spanish Classes 4X a Week

  • Went On a Hiking Trip To Jardin With a Big Group I didn’t know and ended up becoming extremely close with all of them

July:

  • Started to Support Colombia in the Copa America Tournament. The Streets and Colombia was absolutely buzzing for weeks.

  • Continued to do everything I was still doing in June but was forced to leave Colombia on July 13th because my tourist permit is up (US Citizens get 6 months), and I am waiting on documents to come from the FBI that I can send in my application to prove I don’t have a criminal record to obtain a digital nomad visa.

  • Back home in NY has allowed me to focus on getting back into the routine and focus on work and ghostwriting

  • I have become a full-stack ghostwriter, helping entrepreneurs drive high-ticket B2B leads through their personal brands on X and LinkedIn. I am now creating Educational Email Courses, Running Their Newsletters (which was another great reason to get back into my own), and helping them monetize their businesses.

A lot has happened in the last couple of months, and I’m not sure when I’ll be able to return to Colombia.

My plan now is to focus on my new business, overdeliver for my clients, learn a lot, and enjoy the summertime in New York with my friends and family.

Thanks for being here. You can expect another email from me within the week because I am a man of my word, and it’s important to honor what we say and not just how we feel.
